My Gratitude Journal

Good morning, friends!

So, I've made a post all about a gratitude journal which can be found here: https://iamstevonbarnett.wixsite.com/stevonbarnett/post/daily-gratitude

But instead of just talking the talk, I thought I would share with you my very own Gratitude Journal. After I wake up every morning, I write in my Gratitude Journal and it has been AMAZING for my mindset and the way that I am choosing to view the world and my everyday life. That being said, let's dive in.

12/1/21:

  1. I am grateful for waking up and having another day.

  2. My dog, he is so sweet and give unconditional love.

  3. Myself, as a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.

  4. Technology - being able to connect over the web is game changing.

  5. My lungs - with each breath, I am closer to the life that I want to live.

12/2/21:

  1. I am grateful to myself for having the ability to be open and honest.

  2. I am grateful for my job which allows me to take care of my family.

  3. I am grateful for DoorDash which allows me to make extra cash.

  4. I am grateful for my car as it is in good shape and won't leave me stranded.

  5. I am grateful for my wife and her unconditional love.

12/3/21:

  1. I am grateful for myself for applying what I am learning.

  2. I am grateful for my coworker, A, who always tries to be helpful.

  3. I am grateful for DoorDash and having it as an option for income.

  4. I am grateful for waking up this morning.

  5. I am grateful for the Rob Dial Podcast, which I listen to everyday.

12/4/21:

  1. I am grateful that I am making more time and space for myself.

  2. I am grateful for the soft bed that I can rest my body on.

  3. I am grateful for the roof over my family's head.

  4. I am grateful for waking up this morning.

  5. I am grateful for my brain that can lead me to the future I desire.

12/5/21:

  1. I am grateful that I am giving myself the space to learn and work on myself.

  2. I am grateful for my body that it allows me to be active and work it.

  3. I am grateful for my wife's family, they are so loving.

  4. I am grateful for Reiki and that my wife is learning it.

  5. I am grateful for taking a leap in starting this blog.

As you can see, friends, this task can be a really easy one to do in the morning before starting your day and, in my opinion, it really sets up the day on an upbeat and positive note. When you go into your day already grateful for what you have and are in this mindset, I've found that I have better days which leads to better weeks which leads to better months which leads to better years which will lead to a better life.

The choice is yours. Keep doing what you're doing, scrolling though social media or checking your emails the moment you wake up, or do something different and giving yourself the space for change.

Be the Change,

-Stevon
